The Chairman of the War Trade Intelligence Department presents his compliments to the Under Secretary of States for the Colonies and with reference to the latter's query of February 14 (Ref.6617) begs to state that the only member of the firm of Arnhold, Karberg Co.,whose signe ture appears on the appeal referred t in iransit Letter 01517 from the German Consul at Shanghai to the Foreign Office, Berlin, is: F.Lieb who sins for Arnhold,harberg of Hongkong and Canton.
